Never did I imagine we would have more than a year together when you first came home but I knew the time we had would be special.Here we are 2.5 yrs later and the time has come to say goodbye. As sad as I am, I know Charlie will be even sadder.

 

I know you can now rest and run free at the rainbow bridge without pain and have the use of your legs again. You no longer will struggle to get up to walk and play as you have left behind your fragile little body that could no longer keep you going as hard as you tried. Thank you for fighting so hard to stay longer and be with us longer than ever imagined. 

 

You truely are a special girl and I will never forget you. You will always hold a special place in my heart.  Thank you for choosing me to be your final home after all you and Charlie have been through.

 

Know that Charlie will be okay and he learn to go on without you physically here but will never forget all the adventures you have had together through the many homes and shelter stays you have endured.

 

I am so happy I was able to show you how truely special and loved you are and how great life can be where your spirit was never lost.

 

Until we meet again my sweet, sweet girl, I love you to the moon and back my sweet little Matilda, never forget how much you are loved baby girl. ❤️❤️💔🐾🌈
