Westies in Need (WiN) works very hard to match our wonderful dogs with equally wonderful new families. Here are some of our success stories!
Lilly's Story
One of our little rescues was named Lilly - she was the worst case of skin problems we had ever seen when she arrived into our rescue program. The Pet Network saw her info on our website and asked if they could do a story on our Lilly and our rescue. This darling 4 year old boy was surrendered to Westies in Need by his owner. Our love and our thanks go out to them for allowing us to find him a perfect "fur"ever home.
An update...Darling Dudley asked his foster Mommy if he could please stay and live with her forever...and she said yes!!!!
Well, they save it takes a village....and there is NOTHING better than a whole Westie village working so hard to get 15 sweet Westies into our rescue. Lots of updates will follow....but they are here and they are safe!
Welcome for 10 month old Jimmy. Our love and thanks to his family for allowing us to find Jimmy a new and "fur"ever home. Welcome Jimmy to Westies in Need.
An update...Jimmy has been adopted....he asked his foster Mom he could live there forever and they all agreed!!!!

Lovey - After spending her life, 8 years, in a mill and likely having 2 litters every year, she was rescued. Lovey was seen by a vet who diagnosed her with pyometra and informed us that she was still carrying a dead litter of pups. Rescuing her is one thing, truly saving her life is another.
Livey- also 8 years old is such cutie and we are beyond happy that we could save her
Ricky and Mickey- 2 brothers who are just 9 months old and as you can see are pretty adorable.
Hope- a sister to Lovey and Livey----she is a little quieter than her sisters, but love to play
Danny- a little boy, just 4 years old and he is adjusting so well
Lizzy- is just 2 years old and is just about as sweet as can be.

An update...Buffy had been adopted!
OK....not Westie....but how could we NOT save this darling Cairn from a terrible puppy mill. Tilly is now in a foster home and is very happy!!!

Well, this is the most adorable little guy....he was pulled from a puppy mill and he sure is enjoying his new life....welcome Jaxon!
An update...Jaxon has certainly found his perfect home.
What a lovely boy he is!!! He came to us from a puppy mill but he is now safe and loved and will forever be safe.

This beyond sweet girl came to us via a puppy mill and we are so pleased to find her the perfect forever home and give her the life she was always ment to have.

We need a new Westies in Need welcome, for darling Daisy- this 14 month old Westie/Poodle mix is in a foster home and it sure looks like she is gonna stay right there---they love her already!

An update...Daisy has found a new home!!!! She still needs to be spayed (sorry Daisy but those are the rules!) BUT...she spoke to her foster family and asked if she could stay and be their little girl forever and they all screamed YES!
Welcome to our newest member, Misty! This beyond sweet 5 year old Westie is enjoying her foster home.
She needs to see our Vet for her spay (if you see her, keep that a secret...hahah) and then she will be ready to join her new family.

An update...Misty has found a new home.....she gets a Westie sister and a Westie brother to play with as well!
Welcome Duncan, this BEYOND handsome Scottie (we know it's not a Westie...but they are cousins!!!!) He is currently in a foster home and is doing great.

Our thanks to his family for allowing us to find this adorable Westie/Poodle mix a new and "fur"ever home. He is currently in a foster home....BUT...from the conversations I have had with the foster family, Bob will be staying right there, forever!!!! It is a good day for rescue.

Darling Gracie lost her Mommy a few days ago and we are very proud that her family chose us to find her a new home. Gracie has some skin issues that we are working on but then she will be ready to be adopted!
An update...Gracie has been adopted. Her skin is looking SO much better and she is feeling so good....and now she has found her new home.
Welcome these two adorable 7 month old pups into our rescue. These darlings are both in foster to adopt homes and we could not be happier that Westies in Need was able to step in and get them to saftey.
